Press Release

Mitch Naylor was a four-year letter winner for Northwest Christian from 1997 to 2000. Naylor was a two-time National Small College Athletic Association All-American, leading the Crusaders to back-to-back NSCAA National Championships in 1998 and 1999. He earned NSCAA Tournament MVP honors during both of those campaigns and was also named to the all-tournament team in 1997. In 1999, Naylor played in Japan as a member of the NSCAA All-American Tour.

Northwest Christian won at least 19 games in each of his four seasons and the two-time team MVP led the Crusaders in scoring throughout most of his career. Naylor ranks sixth all-time for career scoring with 974 points, fifth all-time in rebounding (413) and fourth all-time for field goals (373) and free-throws (223). Naylor had a pair of 35-point games in his career, ranked seventh all-time, and his 520 points scored during the 1998-99 season is the fifth highest single-season total in school history.
