
In order to ensure that you are ready to participate in athletic competition at NCU, please take the time to go online and register with PlayNAIA. Beginning the process of becoming eligible as soon as possible is important in order to make your transition as smooth as possible.
Student-athletes that are first-time NAIA participants, high school students, or transfers from non-NAIA schools must register with the online service.To learn more about the NAIA or eligibility and to begin eligibility determination, please visit:

Step 4: Regularly check the status of your determination
Information Needed You will be asked to submit basic information needed to review your eligibility.
In addition to a valid email address, students must supply:
- Current contact information
- Current and previous residences and addresses
- High school(s)/College(s) attended
- History of your sports participation during and after high school graduation
Test Scores When you take the ACT or SAT, be sure to specify the code “9876” to have your test scores sent directly to the NAIA Eligibility Center
Transcripts Ask your high school guidance counselor or college registrar to send your official transcript to the NAIA Eligibility Center
Payment Through a secure transaction, your credit card can be used for payment of the one-time fee when you register. High school students that qualify for a waiver of ACT or SAT testing fees or for a free/reduced price school lunch program are eligible for a waiver of the registration fee. Transfer students who qualify for a Federal Pell Grant of at least $4,500 are also eligible for a waiver of the registration fee. Fee waivers will be verified by your high school or college financial aid officer.
Other Eligibility Determination of NAIA eligibility is separate from NCAA certification. The NAIA and NCAA are two different associations with different eligibility rules and processes.
