Known as an intelligent player with a strong work ethic, he parlayed his success at Northwest Christian College into a successful coaching career that has spanned over 30 years. He has coached at numerous NCAA Division I institutions including Texas Christian, Gonzaga, and Minnesota. He is the all-time winningest women's basketball coach at Wake Forest University, where he coached from 2004-2012.
