EUGENE, Ore.  – The 2022-2023 year was a monumental one for two Bushnell head coaches, both of whom became the winningest coaches in school history for their sport.

On September 10, fifth-year head coach Jason Corwin became volleyball's all-time leader for coaching wins in a three-set sweep of Multnomah University. It was his 74th career victory with Bushnell. He finished the year with 86 wins and a solid .610 winning percentage. His overall career record, including his previous time at Oregon Tech, is 158-137.

The Beacons finished third in the Cascade Collegiate Conference in 2022, matching their best finish in school history and giving them a fourth-straight appearance in the CCC tournament where they advanced to the Semifinals.

Three months later, on December 18, fifth year head coach Chad Meadors also became the winningest coach in women's basketball history with a 66-59 win over Walla Walla University. Tied heading into the fourth quarter, the Beacons clamped down on defense, allowing just six points as they pulled away for the win.

The record-breaking win was number 73, and the Beacons would go on to win ten more times as Meadors finished the season at 83-50 for a .624 winning percentage. The Beacons took fifth-place in the CCC, finishing above .500 for the fourth straight season.
