CCC Players of the Week: August 31, 2026

EUGENE, Ore. –  Senior Libero Chloe Farr has been recognized as the Cascade Collegiate Conference Volleyball Defensive Player of the Week as announced on Monday.
 
Farr had a standout week for the Beacons, who went 4-1 in their final week of non-conference competition. She collected over 100 digs on the week, averaging just under five digs per set and added eight service aces during that stretch of games.
 
Her big breakout came on Friday, during back-to-back four-set wins against NAIA foes Pacific Union and Simpson. She earned 7.4 digs per set over the double header, including a career-high 32 digs against Simpson University. She also collected six service aces against Pacific Union.
 
This is the first CCC Defensive Player of the Week for Farr, and the first for the Beacons this season.
 
UP NEXT: With the non-conference portion of the schedule in the rear-view mirror, the Beacons (5-2) dive head-first into the gauntlet of the Cascade Collegiate Conference. First up, a highly anticipated home clash with No. 5 Corban (7-2) on Wednesday night at 6:00 pm. Then on Thursday the team will head north to Portland, taking on Warner Pacific (0-0) at 6:00 pm.
