NAIA Volleyball Top-25 Preseason Coaches' Poll
EUGENE, Ore. – The Bushnell volleyball team received plenty of respect from the coaches around the nation on Wednesday, landing their first-ever pre-season place in the NAIA Top-25 Coaches' Poll, coming in at No. 19.
Â
The Beacons, who went 22-13 in 2025 and advanced to the final site of the NAIA National Championship tournament, came in at No. 19 in the poll, sitting directly behind No. 18 College of Idaho and one spot above No. 20 Midland (Nebraska).
Â
Bushnell is one of four teams from the notoriously difficult Cascade Collegiate Conference to earn a top-25 position. Defending CCC regular season and tournament champion Eastern Oregon comes in at No. 2, followed closely by No. 5 Corban. Southern Oregon is also in the mix at No. 22, followed by No. 23 Lewis-Clark State College.
Â
With the poll released, Bushnell has a good idea of what lies ahead in a tough opening stretch of games, which will include a three-match stretch between August 29 and September 2 against Columbia International University (receiving votes), Taylor University (receiving votes) and No. 5 Corban University. All three of those games will take place inside the Morse Center.
Â
While Bushnell appears in the preseason poll for the first time in school history, the Beacons are no strangers to the NAIA Top-25, where they spent most of the 2025 season. After an all-time peak at No. 15 late in the season, the Beacons have now been as high as No. 19 a total of three times.
Â
Bushnell Volleyball begins the season on Friday, traveling to the Southern Oregon University Invitational where they will take on College of Saint Mary (Nebraska) and Simpson University.
