The 2025 season of Bushnell baseball saw the culmination of the first four years of the program and featured new school records for wins, conference wins and much more.
The Beacons may not have advanced all the way to the NAIA Opening Round has they had in 2024, but the season was still the best in terms of winning, with a 32-20 overall record, including a 22-15 mark in the CCC. After a .500 conference record last year, the Beacons were seven games over in 2025 and equaled their highest conference finish ever in fourth-place.
At mid-season, the Beacons were receiving votes in the NAIA National Coaches poll and had both an eight-game and nine-game winning streak during the year for the longest in school history. The Beacons went 23-6 at home, including a stunning eight walk-off victories, establishing themselves as the "cardiac kids" of the CCC. They went 9-3 in one run games and were a perfect 3-0 in extra-winnings. The Beacons picked off two wins against No. 22 Lewis-Clark State on senior day.
Leading the way was the Bushnell pitching staff which owned the second-lowest ERA in the Cascade Conference, and led the CCC with six shutouts, 16 saves, and a .261 opponent batting average.
The Beacons were represented well in the post-season with
Jordan Wilson becoming Bushnell's first two-time All-Cascade Collegiate Conference selection. In addition, seniors
Ethan Stacy and
Will Hudler, along with sophomore
Chase Nye all collected Gold Gloves from the CCC with Nye advancing to be named the NAIA ABCA-Rawlings national Gold Glove recipient at third base.
The Beacons were also named the winners of Bushnell's Heike McNeil Cup, given each season to the Team of the Year.
