Bushnell Valorant went 2-4 in the regular season to enter the playoffs as the five seed. The Beacons take on fourth-seeded Viterbo (3-3) in the Round of 6. The V-Hawks defeated the Beacons in the spring opener, 2-1 (13-5, 7-13, 13-10).
TRACK & FIELD

LAST WEEK: The ladies led the way at the Willamette Invitational last weekend.
Mayah Pappas earned the win in the women's long jump with a leap of 4.97 meters (16'3.74"). Maddi Desemone qualified for the CCC championship in the 100m and
Rebecca Kuskie took more than 45 seconds off of her personal record in the 5000m, breaking 19-minutes for the first time and qualifying for the conference championships with a second-place run of 18:17.44.
THIS WEEK: The Beacons head to San Francisco on Thursday for the SF State Mike Fanelli Classic and will have their largest qualifying group traveling to the event with more than 20 Beacons on the trip. One unique aspect will be competition in both a Distance Medley Relay (DMR) and a Sprint Medley Relay (SMR). The sprint medley will be a first ever for the Beacons which will see
Jaron Carter,
Isaiah Davis,
Ashton Williams, and
Hunter Reininger run legs of 200m, 200m, 400m, and 800m respectively.

The Beacons (7-20, 4-10 CCC) look to keep their momentum going as they play host to No. 1 ranked Oregon Tech (24-5, 14-1 CCC).
LAST WEEK: Bushnell posted their first CCC-sweep of the season, taking all three conference games against the University of Providence before falling in the fourth non-conference game.
Sam Silver had an incredible weekend for the Beacons. The senior went 2-0 in the circle, allowing just one earned run in 14 innings, and also hit .833 at the plate with ten hits. She produced her first career triple and first four-hit game.
CCC RANKINGS: Bushnell is currently ranked eighth in the CCC for batting average (.260) and ERA (6.99). They rank eighth for fielding percentage at .940.
OREGON TECH: The defending Cascade Collegiate Conference champions are back on top of the standings once again, and currently ranked No. 1 in the NAIA. Since splitting an early March series with No. 12 College of Idaho, the Owls have won 12 straight games.
OIT is currently No. 2 in the CCC in hitting (.355) and pitching (1.57 ERA) and they lead the conference in fielding at .978 with just 16 errors in 29 games.
Zoe Allen leads the offense, hitting .429 which ranks seventh in the CCC. Maggie Buckholz follows closes in eighth (.425). Six players are hitting over .300 for the Owls. In the circle, Kacie Schmidt is 12-1 with a 1.48 ERA and 100 strikeouts in 85.1 innings. McKenzie Staub is 11-3 and has struck out 65.
Oregon Tech holds a daunting 79-8 lead in the 87-game history between the schools. The Owls have won 21 straight with the last Bushnell victory coming in 2016.
BASEBALL

Bushnell (16-9, 4-0 CCC) continues conference play with a four-game series at Corban this weekend.
LAST WEEK: The Beacons swept Eastern Oregon in their conference-opening weekend, giving up just three runs to the Mountaineers on the series. Bushnell took Friday's games 4-2 and 10-0 (8 innings) and won Saturday's contests, 10-1 and 3-0.
Cade Crist hit 7-for-18 on the weekend, which included a two-homer five-RBI second game. Crist has recorded six homers on the year, ranking him third in the CCC.
Peyton Hino also had a solid series, batting 5-for-9 with six runs scored.
CCC RANKINGS: Bushnell is fourth in the conference in batting average (.287) and first in ERA (4.11). The Beacons lead the conference in fielding percentage, holding a .975 mark through 25 games.
Cayden Delozier is fifth in the conference in batting average (.378), fifth in doubles (9), and has recorded a hit in all but four games. Delozier held a 10-game hit streak this season, tying
Jeff Fripp's record from last year.
Ethan Stacy is second on the team in batting, holding a .347 average on the season.
Adam Sabatino ranks third in the conference in ERA, holding a 2.67 mark through seven starts.
Ethan Sachs is fifth in the CCC with a 3.52 ERA and 37 strikeouts (3rd) through seven starts.
CORBAN: The Warriors (7-18, 1-3 CCC) took a game off No. 3 Lewis-Clark State in their conference-opening series on March 18-19 before defeating Pacific University, 7-4, in a mid-week game. Corban ranks sixth in the CCC in batting, averaging .248 as a team, and is seventh in pitching with a 7.78 ERA.
Keenan O'Brien ranks second in the conference with a .390 average, recording nine hits in the series with LC State. Nate Martin leads the Warrior starting pitchers with a 3.86 ERA (6th in CCC) through six starts. Scott Artzer leads the conference in stolen bases with 15 on the year.
Bushnell won three of four against Corban in the non-conference series at the Hamlin Sports Complex in early March to improve to 8-3 in the all-time series.
GOLF
Monday – Tuesday, 4/3-4 at Walla Walla Invitational
Bushnell plays in the third conference-counting event of the year, hosted by Walla Walla University at the Wine Valley Golf Club.
Jackson Muramoto is coming off a NAIA National Men's Golfer of the Week honor following his victory (73-66-139 (-5)) at the Willamette Valley Cup.
Muramoto is averaging a 73.0 stroke average in CCC events, putting him in seventh entering this week's tournament.
Caden Stubbs holds a 74.0 average, ranking him 12th in the CCC.
Elliot Wallace is 17th with a 75.5.
As a team, the Beacons are fourth in the CCC after two of four events. The Walla Walla Invite will be the last tournament before the CCC Championship, hosted by Bushnell at the Emerald Valley Golf Club on April 24-26.
