TALENT, Ore. –
Rebecca Kuskie repeated as an All-Cascade Collegiate Conference selection on Friday, leading the Beacon women's cross country team to a sixth-place finish at the CCC Championships.

Kuskie claimed 15
th-place overall, coming across the finish line in 19 minutes, 42 seconds. As an All-conference performer, Kuskie is in line for a potential individual berth in the NAIA National Championship race when those qualifiers are announced on Tuesday.

The Beacons improved upon their eighth-place finish from last season, taking sixth place as a team with a score of 166, defeating Corban University by eight points.

The College of Idaho had the top-four finishers and earned seven of the top 18 spots to easily defeat Southern Oregon University for the conference championship, 17-49. LC State finished third (83), followed by Oregon Tech (136) and Eastern Oregon (142).

Kuskie had the unique opportunity to compete alongside her younger sister, Jovi, a freshman on the College of Idaho team. Running neck-and-neck for most of the race, Rebecca would finish 12 seconds ahead of her sister.

The remainder of the scoring for the Beacons came within a one-minute pack, led by junior
Kaitlin Cook who took 38
th place (21:39). Freshman
Harmony Goodman was next (41
st, 21:43) followed by
Kennedy Larson (48
th, 22:30) and
Hannah Scott (50
th, 22:41).
Isabell Johnston (53
rd) and
Liz Jarvis (65
th) also competed for Bushnell.

The NAIA National Championship takes place on November 18 in Tallahassee, Florida at the Apalachee Regional Park.
