COMPLETE RESULTS

MONMOUTH, Ore. - With a number of athletes on the shelf with lingering injuries and recently emerging illness, just six women were in action for the Beacons on Friday at the Ash Creek Invitational, taking eighth-place. 

"The girls have been hammered with sickness this week," said Head Coach Kyle Will, "and those that ran, ran well given what they are dealing with not being at 100%."

Leading the way was Eden Rosensteel (pictured), who finished 22nd in the 5000m race at 19:13.3. She was followed by Cadence Smith in 50th (20:51.0) while Alyssa Clark (63rd, 21:52.3), Sidney Lane (65th, 21:58.2) and Jordan Lauinger (66th, 22:07.2) all packed in together at the finish. Rounding out the Bushnell contingent was Brooklyn Beecher (24:09.9) in 80th. 

Up Next: The Beacons will have a few weeks to rest and recover before they head back to action at the Mike Johnson Classic, also taking place at the Ash Creek Preserve on the campus of Western Oregon University.
