PORTLAND, Ore. – The Bushnell men's golf team wrapped up the regular season with a third-place finish at the Tournament of Knights, hosted at the Glendoveer Golf Course.
Three Beacons finished among the top 10, including
Matt Forsyth who continues to find himself toward the top of the leaderboard. He tied for fourth with a 71-74-72—217 (-2).
Peyton Wiedenmann (73-76-71—220) finished eighth, while
Isaac Wells (71-75-75—221) tied for ninth.
Trison Hedges (76-79-78—233) tied for 32
nd,
Shawn Petty (81-78-76—235) tied for 38
th, competing as an individual, and
Jacob Holmes (80-75-81—236) tied for 41
st.
The Beacons (291-300-296—887) finished comfortably ahead of Southern Oregon (904) and Oregon Tech (904), who tied for fourth. The University of British Columbia (869) edged Lewis-Clark State (871) for team medalist honors.
Luke West of LC State earned individual medalist honors, carding a 70-73-70—213 (-6).
The Tournament of Knights was the final regular season Cascade Collegiate Conference event. Up next is the CCC Championship on April 27-29, hosted by LC State at the Lewiston Golf Club.
