PORTLAND, Ore. – The Bushnell women's golf team finished round one in sixth place at the Warner Pacific Invitational, hosted at the Glendoveer Golf Course.

The Beacons shot a 347 to open the tournament and are just two strokes behind the College of Idaho (345) in fifth. The University of British Columbia holds the team lead at 309 and is 11 strokes ahead of second-place Oregon Tech (320).

Kylee Smith leads the way for the Beacons after shooting an 80, which is tied for seventh place on the leaderboard.
