EUGENE, Ore. – It was a big day for the Beacon Women's Track & Field team at the Lane Community College Open on Saturday as ten different ladies earned a total of 16 Cascade Collegiate Conference qualifications.

Leading the way was a three-time qualifier in junior
Cyan Kelso-Reynolds. She started with a personal-record 12.50 in the 100m, taking fourth place and went on to punch her ticket in both the Long Jump (5.21m/17-01.25) and Triple Jump (10.17m/33-04.50).

The Cascade Conference Triple Jump championship will feature a bevy of Beacons as four different women qualified on Saturday.
Ellie Ekwere (10.71m/35-01.75) led the way, followed by
Audrey Sommerville (10.17m/33-04.50), Kelso-Reynolds, and
Viktoriia Gabrio (10.00m/32.09.75).

Senior
Leah Schiewe was another triple-qualifier for the Beacons. She took first-place in both the Discus (38.43m/126-01) and Shot Put (11.44m/37-06.50) and also punched her ticket in the hammer (38.30m/125-08).

Freshman
Janaiya Miller earned two qualifications as well, in both the Discus (34.48m/113-01) and Shot Put (11.26m/35-11.50).

Dual-Sport Freshman
Aliyah Malone (pictured) earned herself a pair of qualifications on Saturday as won the high jump competition (1.55m/5-01) and took second-place in the 100m Hurdles (15.51).

Also earning their CCC standards on Saturday were
Aniya Green in the 100m (12.78),
Janaiya Miller in the Discus (34.48m/113-01),
Sienna Lillebo in the Long Jump (5.05m/16-07.00) and
Eden Witten in the Pole Vault (2.67m/8-09.00).

The Bushnell distance crew also started off their official outdoor season strong.
Alyssa Clark won the 800m race (2:25.72) while
Hailey Jackson claimed second-place finishes in both the 1500m (4:57.57) and the 5000m (18:33.36).

Up Next: The Beacons head to Oregon State University in Corvallis next weekend to compete in the Pacific Northwest Invitational.
