NSC Top-25 Poll
EUGENE, Ore. – The Bushnell volleyball team has clawed their way back into the Top 25, landing at No. 25 in the latest National Selection Committee rankings.
Â
The Beacons improved to 17-8 on the season with four straight wins since the previous poll, and surpassed Lewis-Clark State to become the new No. 5-ranked team out of the Cascade Collegiate Conference. Â
Â
The CCC owns five of the top 25, including three of the top six spots with No. 2 Eastern Oregon (27-2), No. 5 College of Idaho (23-2), and No. 6 Corban (21-6). Southern Oregon (20-8) is also in the poll, at No. 21.
Â
Bushnell is set to close out the regular season this weekend on the road, traveling to play Oregon Tech on Friday at 6:00 pm and at No. 21 SOU on Saturday at 4:00 pm
Â
The Beacons are currently embattled in a three-way tie for fourth-place in the CCC and are aiming to rise out of that grouping to earn the No. 4 seed for the conference tournament and avoid a play-in game next Tuesday for the Cascade Conference Tournament.
