CCC PLAYERS OF THE WEEK

CORVALLIS, Ore. – Junior Avery McCallister was named the Cascade Collegiate Conference Volleyball Setter of the Week, as announced by the conference office on Monday.

McCallister had a strong weekend leading the Beacons as they earned back-to-back wins over Walla Walla University and No. 22-ranked Lewis-Clark State College, jumping back into a tie for fourth-place in the CCC.

On Friday, Bushnell swept the Wolves with McCallister earning 19 assists and seven digs. In Saturday's upset win over the Warriors, she added 17 assists, six digs and two service aces in the four-set victory.

This is the first CCC Setter of the Week honor for McCallister, and it is the second for the Beacons after Emma Fa'alogo was recognized earlier this season.

UP NEXT: The Beacons look to close out the regular season strong this weekend as they hit the road for Oregon Tech on Friday at 6:00 pm and Southern Oregon on Saturday at 4:00 pm.
