CCC Players of the Week, October 26, 2026

EUGENE, Ore. – Sophomore Aliyah Malone was named the Cascade Collegiate Conference Volleyball Defensive Player of the Week as announced by the CCC office on Monday.

Malone had a huge weekend in the front row, making the first back-to-back starts of her career as the Beacons went 2-0 with home victories over Northwest and Evergreen.

Bushnell had to come from behind to defeat the Eagles in five sets on Friday, thanks in large part to Malone who earned career-highs with seven kills and nine blocks. She followed that effort with five blocks on Saturday in a sweep of the Geoducks.

This is the first CCC Defensive Player of the Week honor for Malone, and it is the fourth for Bushnell this season, joining Chloe Farr and Soliel Sands, who has won the honor twice.

UP NEXT: The Beacons return to action next Friday as they play host to Walla Walla University at 2:00 pm.
