EAGLE POINT, Ore. – Bushnell remained in fifth-place after the final round of the, Southern Oregon Invitational which concluded on Tuesday at Stone Ridge Golf Course.

Bushnell shot a 305-295-301—901, keeping pace but unable to pass Oregon Tech, who also shot a 301, finishing at 900 to take fourth.  The Beacons held off a late charge from The College of Idaho in sixth, finishing at 903.

Lewis-Clark State and the University of British Columbia tied for the team win, both at ten-under par. Â

Senior Ben Lovrod led the way for the Beacons, shooting 72-74-76—222 to tie for 18th place. Three Bushnell players were close behind, tying for 22nd place with a score of 224.
Trison Hedges (77-72-75) and
Jacob Holmes (76-75-73) were joined by
Isaac Wells (78-72-74) playing as an individual.

Peyton Wiedenmann (35th, 80-74-77—231) and
Connor Cameron (50th, 80-92-81—253) rounded out the Beacon team scoring.

LC State's Alex Navarro won the tournament by two strokes, shooting seven-under par.

The Beacons close out the season on April 21-22 at the Cascade Collegiate Conference Championship, taking place in Portland at Glendoveer Golf Course.
