EUGENE, Ore. – Bushnell Esports wrapped up the first week of the spring season, earning wins in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, FC 25, College Football and Rocket League.
SUPER SMASH BROS. ULTIMATE (SSBU)
Match 1: Dallas Baptist 2, Bushnell 0 (12-10, 12-6)
Match 2: Bushnell 2, Wilson College 0 (12-5, 12-10)
The format of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate (SSBU) is 4v4 Crew Battles. Teams are assigned opponents of similar records each week and play a best-of-three series.
Bushnell earned their first win of the spring on Monday, defeating Wilson College, 2-0.

TEAMFIGHT TACTICS (TFT)
Week 2: Claunch (T-7th), Farris (33rd)
Zack Claunch was placed into the top division (Division A) of competition, while
Nathan Farris will compete in Division B. Every Monday, Claunch and Farris will play two matches, competing in an eight-way free-for-all format. The number of teams that will advance to the playoffs has not been announced.
Claunch had two second-place results in the second week to earn 14 points, moving him into the top 10 on the Division A leaderboard. He has had a top four finish in three of four games this spring. Farris had a third and eighth-place result in week two, moving him to 33
rd on the Division B leaderboard.
ROCKET LEAGUE
ECAC Spring Showdown: 5-2
Bushnell Rocket League returned to action, competing in a preseason tournament.

Kyle Foss make up the starting lineup for the spring.
The Beacons swept the group play stage, earning wins over SUNY Polytechnic Institute, Brooklyn College, Utica College, Seneca College and Buffalo State. They did not have the same success in bracket play, falling to Keiser University – Sarasota and Nichols College in the double-elimination day two.
Bushnell had a bye week to open the ECAC spring season, but will open the regular season this week against Northeastern University on Wednesday, Feb. 5 at 5:00 p.m.
FC 25
Match 1: Bushnell 2, Bridgewater College 0 (7-3, 10-2)
Match 2: St. Clair College 2, Bushnell 0 (9-2, 7-2)
Andrew Bennett is off to a 1-1 start in the spring season of FC 25. There are 131 teams competing. Bennett will be assigned an opponent of similar record each week.
MADDEN
Match 1: Post University 2, Bushnell 0
Caden Hoerauf is representing Bushnell in Madden. He will be assigned an opponent of similar record each week, playing a best-of-three series every Thursday night. There are 80 colleges participating in the spring
Hoerauf fell to Post University in his season opener.
COLLEGE FOOTBALL
Match 1 (Hoerauf): Bushnell 2, Central Maine CC (36-7, 42-8)
Match 1 (Monrroy): Bellarmine University 2, Bushnell 1 (21-56, 20-15, 57-56)
Hoerauf and
Mason Monrroy will represent the Beacons in the inaugural College Football season. They will be assigned opponents of similar records each week, playing a best-of-three series. There are 54 colleges participating in the spring.
Hoerauf posted a dominant week one victory over Central Maine CC. Monrroy appeared to be in line for a win in his debut but disconnected at the end of game three due to an internet outage.
FORTNITE
Week 1: Gold (84 points, 35th), Blue (28 points, 80th), White (14 points, 95th)
Fortnite will compete in a seven-week zero build duos regular season, playing three matches each week. Points are earned based on placement and eliminations. At the end of the regular season, the top 50 teams on the leaderboard will advance to the playoffs.
