Bushnell Esports: Spring Season Concludes

EUGENE, Ore.  –  The Bushnell Esports season concluded with round two of the FIFA Playoffs and the second week of the Fortnite Finals.

Playoffs Round 2: Oakland City University 2, Bushnell 0 (8-2, 4-3)
 
Andrew Bennett entered the playoffs as the No. 11 seed in the 23-team bracket. He defeated St. Clair College in the first round, marking the first-ever playoff win in a sport title in Bushnell history. He was matched up with sixth-seeded Oakland City in the second round, falling in two.
 
Bennett ends his senior season with a 6-3 record, moving his collegiate career record to 21-15-1.
 
FORTNITE
Zero Build: LEADERBOARD
 
Nick McGowen and Nathan Farris competed in a seven-week duos regular season, playing three matches every Tuesday. Points were earned based on placement and eliminations. They earned an automatic qualification to the Finals after a 19th-place regular season finish.
 
McGowen and Farris finished 45th in the two-week Finals.
