Bushnell Esports: Playoffs Week 1

EUGENE, Ore.  –  Andrew Bennett won the first-ever playoff match in a sport title for the Bushnell Esports program, while Nathan Farris and Nick McGowen competed in the first day of the Fortnite Finals.

Playoffs Round 1: Bushnell 2, St. Clair College 1 (3-1, 4-5, 8-4)
 
Bennett entered the playoffs as the No. 11 seed in the 23-team bracket. He faced St. Clair College in a rematch on Monday, which was one of his only losses during the regular season. This time, he took home the series when it mattered most in a tightly contested battle from start to finish.
 
Up next, Bennett will face the No. 6 seed, Oakland City University on Monday, April 6 at 5:00 p.m.

Game 3: 21st, 3 elim
Game 4: 47th
 
McGowen and Farris had a rough first day of the Fortnite Finals with early exits in two of four games. They have four more games to make up ground, taking place on Tuesday, April 7 at 5:00 p.m.
