AURORA, Ore. – The Bushnell men's golf team got their spring season off to a soggy start on Saturday with a third-place finish at the rain-soaked Lewis & Clark College Invite, taking place at Langdon Farms Golf Course. Sunday's scheduled second round was canceled due to weather.

Bushnell took third-place at the four-team event, shooting a 315. Corban won the event (301), followed by Lewis & Clark in second (303).

Senior Benjamin Lovrod was the top finisher for the Beacons individually, taking fifth-place with a four-over 75. Trison Hedges and Jacob Holmes followed in tenth (79), with Holmes playing as an individual.

The team scoring was rounded out by Connor Cameron in 13th (80), while Peyton Wiedenmann and Talon Larson tied for 16th (81). Cody Adams rounded out the Bushnell contingent as an individual, carding an 88.

The Beacons will be back in action on Sunday, March 9 when they begin the Bandon Match Play event, hosted by Bushnell at the Bandon Crossings Golf Course.
