Bushnell Esports: Weekly Recap

EUGENE, Ore.  –  Bushnell Esports competed in the sixth week of the ECAC season with matches in Fortnite, College Football 26 and Madden NFL 26. Rocket League was also back in action, competing in a Collegiate Rocket League 2v2 Tournament.
 
FORTNITE
Week 6: LEADERBOARD
 
Fortnite will compete in a seven-week zero build duos regular season, playing three matches every Tuesday at 5:00 p.m. Points are earned based on placement and eliminations. At the end of the regular season, the top 35 teams with the most points over the seven weeks will move to Finals. The following teams in places 36th-75th will move into the Semi-Finals where the top 15 will move to the Finals.
 
The duos competing for the Beacons are Nathan Farris/Nick McGowen (Gold), Grayson Bolanos/Emma Reposa (Blue) and Trent Parks/Kyle Solomons/Isaac Wagner (White).
 
Week 1: Blue (88 points, 46th), Gold (82 points, 50th), White (74 points, 54th)
Week 2: Gold (254 points, 18th), Blue (164 points, 46th), White (98 points, 76th)
Week 3: Gold (286 points, 36th), Blue (232 points, 52nd), White (154 points, 76th)
Week 4: Gold (420 points, 26th), Blue (288 points, 59th), White (172 points, 91st)
Week 5: Gold (556 points, 22nd), Blue (384 points, 57th), White (172 points, 100th)
Week 6: Gold (682 points, 21st), Blue (460 points, 58th), White (224 points, 98th)
 
There is one week to go in the regular season.
 
ROCKET LEAGUE
 
Isaac Wagner and Brec Feehan competed in the Collegiate Rocket League (CRL) Open 2v2 Tournament, finishing 2-2 on the night.
 
Winners Round 2: North Texas 2, Bushnell 1 (2-5, 3-0, 3-2)
Losers Round 1: Bushnell 2, SHU 0 (6-3, 4-1)
Losers Round 2: Bushnell 2, Nebraska 1 (5-6, 3-2, 4-1)
Losers Round 3: Utah Valley 2, Bushnell 1 (8-5, 4-5, 2-1)

Caden Hoerauf dropped his week six match, but had a memorable game two victory, stopping a two-point conversion to send the match to a decisive third game. Mason Monrroy fell in a pair of tight games to the University of Mississippi.
 
College Football is played every Wednesday at 5:00 p.m.
 
MADDEN NFL 26

Hoerauf kept himself in playoff contention with his third consecutive win in Madden, taking down Seton Hill University. His team selections were the Baltimore Ravens and Detroit Lions.
 
Madden is played every Thursday at 5:00 p.m.
