FINAL RESULTS
CALDWELL, Idaho – The Bushnell men's golf team closed out the final Cascade Conference tournament of the fall on Tuesday, claiming a fifth-place finish at the College of Idaho, taking place at Timberstone Golf Course.

Bushnell was fifth after Monday's first two rounds and held on to that spot by out-shooting Southern Oregon by four stokes over the final 18 holes to claim a six-stroke lead over the Raiders in sixth.

The University of British Columbia won the tournament with a team score of 853, shooting 11-under par and defeating Oregon Tech by 29 strokes. LC State followed in third with the hosts taking fourth, five shots better than the Beacons.

Matt Forsyth (72-73-78—223) led the way for the Beacons, claiming a share of 14
th-place. "The greens at Timberstone were fast and difficult when made apparent that I need to work on my putting," said Forsyth. "Overall, I thought the team played solid both days. There is definitely room for improvement and I think we all know what we need to work on to get better as a team."

Connor Cameron (78-80-74—232) and Peyton Widenmann (81-76-75—232) tied for 34
th place while
Isaac Wells (75-81-77—233) followed one strike behind in 36
th.

Jacob Holmes in 45
th (76-82-82—240).
UP NEXT: The Beacons are set to hit the road to close out the fall half of the schedule on November 3-5, traveling to the Firestorm Fall Invitational, hosted by Arizona Christian University at Verrado Golf Club. Â
