The Bushnell Fall Invitational wrapped on Tuesday afternoon with the Bushnell men's golf team taking third-place at Pine Ridge Golf Course.
Junior transfer
Isaac Wells was impressive in his first official tournament with the Beacons, taking third-place overall with a 71-75-73—219). He moved up from fifth to third in Tuesday's final round.
As a team, the Beacons shot 304-302-302—908, displaying some consistency as they finished 14 shots behind RV Lewis-Clark State and six strokes ahead of fourth-place Oregon Tech.
Peyton Widenmann (76-79-76—231) and
Talon Larson (80-75-76—231) tied for 19
th for the Beacons while Conner Cameron (77-75-83—235) took 26
th.
Benjamin Lovrod (83-77-77—237) rounded out the Bushnell contingent in 28
th.
No. 5-ranked University of British Columbia won the tournament by 30 strokes.
The Beacons will return to action in three weeks, playing in the non-conference Oregon Tech Invitational at Running Y Ranch.
