BANDON, Ore. – The Bushnell men's golf team won three of four matchups against Simpson University on day two of Bandon Crossing Match Play, a three-day event hosted by the Beacons.

Larry Watts said, "We had extremely difficult weather today. The three nemeses of a pleasant round were at full strength. Our golfers definitely took a nice step in a positive direction. We have put the outcome in our own hands for the final day when we tee it up against Corban tomorrow."

Muramoto: "Josh and I started the round well, halving the first four holes. We ended up winning hole five and after that we didn't look back. We proceeded to win hole eight and nine to go 3 up at the turn. We stayed in the present, battled hard and were fortunate enough to finish and win the match on hole 15."
