EUGENE, Ore. – Bushnell Esports continued its season in the ECAC, competing in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Teamfight Tactics, Rocket League and Fortnite.
SUPER SMASH BROS. ULTIMATE (SSBU)
Week 5: Oklahoma Christian 2, Bushnell 0 (12-4, 12-4)
The Beacons are competing in their first official SSBU season, debuting with a roster of eight. The format of SSBU is 4v4 Crew Battles. Teams are assigned opponents of similar records each week and play a best-of-three series.
Bushnell fell in their fifth-week match to Oklahoma Christian University, dropping to 1-4 on the season.

Jacob Belz all saw time in the match. The Beacons conclude the fall season with a match against Warner Pacific University on Monday, Nov. 4 at 5:00 p.m.

Zack Claunch was placed into the top division (Division A) of competition, representing Bushnell in its first appearance of TFT. Every Monday, Claunch will have two matches, competing in an eight-way free-for-all format.
Claunch continued to move his way up the leaderboard, posting 14 points (1
st, 3
rd) to move up to 18
th (63 points) on the leaderboard in the 48-competitor field. There is just one week to go in the regular season. Claunch will need to find himself among the top 16 by the end of the seven-week regular season in order to advance to the playoffs.
ROCKET LEAGUE
Week 4: Bushnell 4, Merrimack College 0 (6-1, 5-0, FF-)
Bushnell Rocket League returns with their strongest starting lineup in program history.
Cole Vamos,
Isaac Wagner and
Brec Feehan will play on Wednesday of each week, competing in a best-of-seven matchup.
The Rocket League season, consisting of 183 teams, is broken into eight divisions based on rank. The Beacons were placed in Division A, the second-highest level of competition. At the end of the regular season, the top 4 teams from each conference will advance to the postseason.
Bushnell moved to 2-2 after a win over Merrimack College. The Beacons cruised to a pair of wins before Merrimack left the match, forfeiting the final two games. Up next, Bushnell takes on the University of Michigan - Flint on Wednesday, Nov. 6 at 5:00 p.m.
FORTNITE
Week 1: 150 points (47th)
Week 2: 208 points (35th)
Week 3: TBA
Fortnite competes in four zero build trios tournaments, taking place every other week. Points are earned based on placement and eliminations. At the end of each five-game tournament, the top team from each of the four lobbies will advance to the playoffs. The 17 remaining teams will qualify based on points earned throughout the four tournaments.

Nick McGowen are representing Bushnell in their first-ever trios competition. The Beacons finished with 150 points in week one and 208 points in week two, putting them in 35
th out of 112 teams on the leaderboard. The third week results have not been posted.
Bushnell will need to find themselves within the top 33 teams at the end of the fourth tournament in order to qualify for the postseason.
