BREMERTON, Wash. – The Bushnell men's golf competed in the University of British Columbia Invitational this week, taking place at Gold Mountain Golf Course.

The Beacons took 11th-place in the event, but finished with their best round of the tournament on Tuesday as they shot a 322-320-302—944. The Beacons were five strokes behind Multnomah, and finished ninth among CCC teams. Â

Leading the way for the Beacons was
Isaac Wells, taking 35th place (79-77-75—231). Ben Lovrod followed in 39th (75-81-78—234) while
Peyton Wiedenmann had Bushnell's best round of the tournament on Tuesday jumping nine spots as he took 43rd (81-82-73—236).

Also competing for the Beacons were
Connor Cameron (63rd, 87-80-83—250) and
Talon Larson (89-89-76—254).

The Beacons will be back in action next week, closing out the fall portion of the season at the Tall Timbers Invitational. Monday's first round will be played at Eugene Country Club while Tuesday's second round takes place at Emerald Valley Golf Club in Creswell.
