EUGENE, Ore. –  Bushnell Esports wrapped up another busy week, highlighted by a 2-1 victory for Valorant on Tuesday night. The Beacons also competed in Teamfight Tactics, FC 25, Rocket League and Madden.
TEAMFIGHT TACTICS (TFT)

Zack Claunch was placed into the top division (Division A) of competition, representing Bushnell in its first appearance of TFT. Every Monday, Claunch will have two matches, competing in an eight-way free-for-all format.

Claunch missed his first match due to an illness but recorded six points in his second match to put himself in 28
th (23 points) on the leaderboard in the 48-competitor field. There are four weeks to go in the regular season. Claunch will need to find himself among the top 16 by the end of the seven-week regular season in order to advance to the playoffs.

VALORANT
Week 3: Bushnell 2, Kean 1 (8-13, 13-7, 13-6)

Bushnell Valorant is back after a year off, featuring three new members to the starting lineup.

Connor DeVeny will play on Tuesday of each week, competing in a best-of-three matchup.

The Valorant season, consisting of 232 teams, is broken into nine divisions based on rank. The Beacons were placed in Division A, the second-highest level of competition. At the end of the regular season, the top 4 teams from each conference will advance to the postseason. Â Â Â

Bushnell defeated Kean University on Tuesday, improving to 2-1. The Beacons dropped game one for the second week in a row before taking the next two matches fairly comfortably. Just two teams remain undefeated in conference play entering the fourth week of action. Up next, the Beacons take on Seneca Polytechnic (1-0) on Tuesday, Oct. 15 at 5:00 p.m.

The Beacons took a loss in the season opener, going up 3-1 in the series before falling in three straight games. Up next is a match against Keiser University – Sarasota on Wednesday, October 16 at 5:00 p.m.

Week 1: Bushnell 1, College of Staten Island 1 (2-2, 4-1, 2-3)

Andrew Bennett is representing Bushnell in FC 25, previously known as FIFA. He will be assigned an opponent of similar record each week, playing a best-of-three series every Monday night. There are 141 teams participating in the fall.

Bennett recorded the first tie in Bushnell Esports history, playing to a draw with the College of Staten Island. The sides tied game one before splitting the next two. Up next, a match with Thomas College on Monday, Oct. 14 at 5:00 p.m.

Caden Hoerauf is representing Bushnell in Madden. He will be assigned an opponent of similar record each week, playing a best-of-three series every Thursday night. There are 113 colleges participating in the fall.

Hoerauf's dropped to 1-2 on the season after falling to Mount Aloysius College on Thursday night. His week four opponent has not been assigned.
