KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. – The Bushnell men's golf team dropped back two spots on Tuesday, despite shooting the same score as they had on Monday, finishing out the Oregon Tech Invitational in sixth place.

The Beacons scored a 305-305—710 in the tournament, and beat out The College of Idaho by one stroke. Menlo College won the tournament after an even-par second round, scoring 583 to beat out Southern Oregon University by two.

Senior Ben Lovrod (pictured) posted the best back-to-back rounds of his career and posted an all-time low two-round tournament score of 145 to finish tied for second-place. His 72 in Monday's first round was the third-best round of his career. He was the top finisher from the Cascade Conference, beating out Carson King (College of Idaho), Tyler Vasser (Oregon Tech) and Riley Kirk (Southern Oregon) by one shot.

Playing as an individual,
Jacob Holmes was next for the Beacons in 28th place, shooting a 79-74—153.

As for the scoring team,
Isaac Wells shot a 75-79—154 to take 34th,
Talon Larson followed in 37th (79-77—156),
Peyton Wiedenmann finished 40th (82-76—158) and
Trison Hedges was 48th (79-90—169).

Other individual golfers for the Beacons were Conner Cameron in 35th place (77-78—155) and
Justin Walton in 50th (87-88—175).

The Beacons will return to action next week as they travel to Solvang, California for the Dutch Classic, hosted by The Master's College at Alisal Ranch Golf Course. Â Â
