CORVALLIS, Ore. –
Benjamin Lovrod led the Bushnell University men's golf team in a dual with Corban University, taking third in the standings at the Trysting Tree Golf Club.

Following a career-best 1-under 70 in round one, the junior shot a 75 in the second round to finish at 70-75—145. He tied with Corban's David Harvey (73-72—145) for third.

Shane Jacobus won the tournament by six strokes, finishing 65-70—135. Jackson Bragg took second after posting the best score of the second round, finishing at a 73-68—141.

Following Lovrod's tie for third, the Beacons made up the next four spots in the standings, starting with
Elliot Wallace in fifth, who shot a 75-73—148.
Connor Cameron finished one stroke behind Wallace, carding a 77-72—149 in his first collegiate tournament for sixth place.

Hayden Lazeo had a strong second round, posting a 78-72—150 for seventh on the leaderboard.
Josh Neal took eighth with a 77-75—152.
Talon Larson (73-80—153) and
Jackson Muramoto (74-79—153) tied for ninth, while
Cody Adams (79-84—163) placed 18
th and
Jackson Findlay (85-82—167) took 19
th.
