KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. – The Bushnell men's golf team dropped to ninth in the standings following the third round of the Oregon Tech Invitational, hosted by the Owls at the Running Y Ranch Golf Club on Monday and Tuesday.

The Beacons were led by
Benjamin Lovrod (73-84-78—235) who finished 30
th. Three strokes behind Lovrod was
Connor Cameron (83-72-83—238), tying for 35
th.
Elliot Wallace (81-82-80—243) tied for 42
nd followed by
Hayden Lazeo (79-79-86—244) in a tie for 44
th and
Talon Larson (85-83-78—246) in a tie for 46
th.
Josh Neal (88-84-90—262) placed 51
st.

The defending national champion, the University of British Columbia (841), had a dominant performance, winning the tournament by 37 strokes. Oregon Tech (878) moved up the leaderboard in the third round to finish second, while Southern Oregon (884) took third.
Three Thunderbirds made up the top-three spots in the standings, led by Mackenzie Bickell (66-71-70—207 (-9)), who won a one-hole playoff to earn medalist honors. Dylan MacDonald (70-67-70—207) took second and Manu Gandhi (70-72-70—212) tied for third with Southern Oregon's Mason Labow (72-66-74-212).

The final team scores were: (1) British Columbia 841, (2) Oregon Tech 878, (3) Southern Oregon 884, (4) Lewis-Clark State 897, (5) College of Idaho 906, (6) Corban 933, (7) Multnomah 945, (8) Walla Walla 947, (9) Bushnell 960.

Up next, Bushnell competes at the Warrior Fall Invitational, hosted by Corban University at the Pine Ridge Golf Club in Springfield, Ore. The tournament will be the second Cascade Collegiate Conference counting event of the season.
