After an undefeated weekend on the road with Warner Pac and Multnomah, Bushnell (11-6, 9-4 CCC) finds themselves in a three-way tie for fourth place in the conference. This week they will host Corban for a midweek game on Wednesday, then the previously beaten LC State and Walla Walla on Friday and Saturday.
 
STAT WATCH: The Beacons are currently ranked sixth in the CCC for hitting percentage (.169) and third for defensive hitting percentage (.137). They are also second in the conference for service aces (1.87/set) and fifth in blocks (2.25/set). Bella Parque is currently third in the CCC in digs (4.90) per set.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK: On Monday, Senior Halle Neumann was named the Cascade Conference Rize Laboratory Volleyball Offensive Player of the Week. In Bushnell's pair of victories, Neumann averaged 3.8 kills per set and hit .526 to lead the way. She also collected three blocks on the weekend as she moved into a tie for third-place on Bushnell's career blocking list with 235, tying Chandler Gabrio (2012-2015).
 
CORBAN: The Warriors (18-3, 12-1 CCC) currently holds a three-game win streak, most recently beating both Multnomah in four sets and Warner Pac in three on the road. They are ranked in the NAIA Top-Ten, and are battling for first place in the CCC with Eastern Oregon.
 
Corban is currently first in the CCC for hitting percentage (.263) and second in defensive hitting (.094). They are also ranked third in the conference for assists (11.99/set), kills (12.87/set), and blocks (2.51/set).
 
Emma Bischoff is first in the CCC in hitting percentage (.358), while Rylee Troutman holds the lead for kills with an average of 4.03 per set.
 
The Warriors hold a 25-10 advantage in the all-time series with Bushnell, winning the last four in a row.
 
LEWIS-CLARK STATE: The Warriors (7-12, 6-8 CCC) are entering this week after an away series split, defeating Evergreen on Friday and falling to Northwest on Saturday.
 
LC State is ranked eighth in the conference for hitting (.158) and for opponent hitting (.193). They are also third in service aces with an average of 1.79 per set. Juliana Forgach Agu leads the team and is second in the CCC in kills (3.83/set).
 
Bushnell holds a 6-5 lead in the all-time series and has won six of the last seven meetings. The Beacons are also 5-1 against the Warriors since LC State joined the CCC in 2021.
 
WALLA WALLA: The Wolves (1-14, 1-13 CCC) are coming off a tough weekend on the road, recently losing to Northwest and Evergreen State, both in three sets.
 
Walla Walla is currently last in the CCC for hitting percentage (.057) and second to last in defensive hitting (.280).
 
Bushnell holds a 23-4 edge in the all-time series with the Wolves, winning 14 straight dating back to 2015. In that span, the Beacons have only dropped one set.

The Beacons (4-5-2, 0-5-1 CCC) are entering their last series of home games this weekend, after falling to both Evergreen State, 6-1, and Northwest, 3-0. In their contest with Evergreen, the Beacons allowed three goals in each half and the lone goal came from sophomore Caleb Premo in the 10th minute.
 
Bushnell will host Multnomah on Friday and Warner Pac on Saturday for senior weekend, both games beginning at 4:30pm.
 
STAT WATCH: Bushnell is currently tied for fifth in conference in goals (2.09/g) and is sixth in assists (1.36/g). The Beacons are 13th in the CCC in goals against, allowing 2.64 per contest. Sophomore Caleb Premo is currently tied for ninth in the conference for goals scored with five this season and freshman Francisco Cayolla is tied for sixth in assists (0.36/g).
 
SENIOR DAY: Bushnell will honor seniors Arjuna Chotu, Ethan Ferry, Preston Ferry, and Juan Palacios in a pre-game ceremony ahead of Saturday's game with Warner Pacific.
 
MULTNOMAH: The Lions (2-8-1, 0-6-1 CCC) are still looking for their first conference win after tying with Northwest 0-0, and falling to Warner Pacific 2-1 last weekend. After their tie, they have scored one point in the CCC standings and are tied with Bushnell for 12th-place.
 
Multnomah is currently 13th in the conference in goals scored (1.0/g) and is eighth in goals allowed with 1.64 per match.
 
The Beacons hold a 7-1 advantage in the all-time series with the Lions, only losing their most recent match up on the road in 2022.
 
WARNER PACIFIC: The Knights (7-3-1, 4-2-1 CCC) are coming into the weekend on a two-game win streak after defeating Multnomah 2-1 this past Saturday. They have scored 13 points, which is good for sixth-place in the conference standings.
 
Warner Pac is second in the CCC in goals with 2.64 per game and is ranked first in goals allowed (0.73/g). Bryce Miller leads the team and is ranked second in the conference in goals with a total of nine on the season.
 
The Knights hold a 20-2 lead in the all-time series, with Bushnell's last win coming in 2017.

After a great battle this weekend, the Beacons (4-4-1, 3-2-1 CCC) are getting ready to enter their last home series of the season. Bushnell defeated Evergreen 3-1 on Friday with goals from Lexis Canyete-Asato and Emily Puita, before falling to Northwest 1-0 in a tough match on Saturday.
 
Bushnell is set to host Multnomah and Warner Pacific for senior weekend, kicking off at 7:00 pm both days.
 
CONFERENCE OUTLOOK: With the CCC schedule hitting it's halfway point, the Beacons have secured 10 points and are sitting in sixth-place in the standings. Eight teams qualify for the conference tournament and Bushnell has put themselves in a strong position to try and capture a tourney bid for the first time since 2016. They have already scored more points then they have since 2018.
 
The Beacons are tied for ninth in the CCC in scoring (1.22/g) and are still sixth in defense with an average of 1.33 goals allowed per game. They also remain at eighth in the conference in saves with 6.11 per game. Goalkeeper Lexi Bates is ranked ninth in the conference in saves, averaging five per game.
 
SENIOR NIGHT: The Beacons will honor seniors Madison Bender, Sophia Castillo, Lindsay Estes, Allison Moreno, Taylor Morgan, Ency Soto-Jacobo, and Niamhie Taylor-Hughes before their game against Warner Pacific on Saturday.
 
MULTNOMAH: The Lions (3-8-1, 1-5-1 CCC) come into the weekend on a three-game losing streak, recently falling to Warner Pacific, 1-0. With four points in the standings, they are currently tied for tenth-place.
 
Multnomah is currently sixth in the CCC in scoring, averaging 1.25 goals per game. They have allowed an average of 2.50 goals per contest this season which puts them at 12th in the conference. The Lions are also ranked third in saves (6.67/g).
 
Bushnell holds a 3-1 advantage in the all-time series with Multnomah, only losing in their last matchup on the road in 2022.
 
WARNER PACIFIC: The Knights (5-6-1, 2-4-1 CCC) got their second conference win of the season this weekend, defeating Multnomah, 1-0. They hold a two-game win streak going into this weekend, and have jumped into ninth-place in the CCC standings with seven points.
 
Warner Pac is ranked ninth in the CCC in both scoring (0.92/g) and goals allowed (1.33/g). They are second in the conference in saves with 6.92 per match. Litzy Gonzalez leads the team with a total of 58 saves this season, ranking her third in the CCC.
 
The Knights hold a 9-7-4 lead in the all-time series with Bushnell's last win coming in 2018.
 
 

CROSS COUNTRY

The Beacons will have their final regular-season tune-up on Saturday, traveling to the large George Oja Invitational, hosted by Linfield University at Oak Knoll Golf Course.
 

ESPORTS

Bushnell Fortnite is coming off a fifth-place result at the Collegiate Championship over the weekend, extending the streak of top-10 national finishes to three consecutive seasons. The second split of the fall season begins this weekend and is the zero-build format. There will be three qualifiers over the next two weeks followed by the championship on October 28th.   
 
Rocket League wraps up the regular season on Monday with a match against Colorado School of Mines (0-4). The Beacons are looking to hold on to fifth place in the final standings.
