2026 CCC Men's Cross Country Preseason Coaches' Poll

CORVALLIS, Ore. - The Bushnell men's cross country team has been picked to finish eighth in the Cascade Collegiate Conference, as selected by the CCC Coaches in the Preseason poll released on Thursday by the conference office. 

The Beacons return seven runners from the 2025 squad which took 12th place. The team will supplement with six freshman and one junior college transfer who will look to make an impact this season. 

Southern Oregon University was selected to take the crown this year, earning the top spot with eight first-place votes and 139 points. College of Idaho claimed the No. 2 spot with 121 points, while Corban University followed closely behind with 117 points and two first-place votes.

Trinity Western University ranked No. 4 with 112 points, followed by defending CCC champion Eastern Oregon University with 109 points and two first-place votes. Northwest University rounded out the top six with 84 points.

Oregon Tech earned 70 points for seventh, followed by Lewis-Clark State College with 61 points and The Evergreen State College with 44 points. Bushnell University (28 points), Walla Walla University (27 points), and Warner Pacific University (24 points) completed the poll.

The CCC delivered a strong showing at the 2025 NAIA Men's Cross Country Championship, with all five competing conference programs finishing inside the top 15 and nine student-athletes earning NAIA All-American honors.

The 2026 CCC Cross Country Championships are set for November 6 in Lewiston, Idaho. The Cascade Conference will also help host the 2026 NAIA Men's and Women's Cross Country Championships on November 20 in Vancouver, Washington.
