Beacons Close Season at CCC Championships

RESULTS

INDEPENDENCE, Ore.  – The Bushnell men's cross country team took 12th place on Friday morning at the Cascade Collegiate Conference championship, taking place at Oak Knoll Golf Course.

Junior Logan Gant was the top finisher once again for the Beacons, taking 86th place at 28:51.90. The top-four finishers for the Beacons packed in closely as senior Sayer Pescosolido finished 87th (28:52.80), Sophomore CJ Long took 90th (29:19.20), and sophomore Miguel Ramirez was 92nd (29:46.20).

Also running for the Beacons were Ben Patterson (96th), Lennox Zebroski (101st), and Andrew Bennett (103rd).

Eastern Oregon won the CCC Championship, as all five of their scoring runners finished in the top-21.

We didn't finish well today," said Head Coach Kyle Will. "Just poor timing with sickness and other things they are dealing with, and being in the toughest conference in the country, and among some of the toughest teams and athletes, and we aren't quite there yet. They've worked hard, we are young and have a promising future, and will keep working towards next year and towards the track season."
