EAGLE POINT, Ore. – The Cascade Collegiate Conference Championship, presented by U.S. Bank concluded on Tuesday with the Bushnell University women's golf team finishing in sixth place at the Eagle Point Golf Club.           
 
The Beacons were led by freshman 
Analise Aubin, taking 15th place with back-to-back rounds of 84 to finish with 168. "I had a great experience at my first conference championship," said Aubin. "We went up against some great competition and I am excited to get after it again in the fall."
 
Senior 
Cassidy Krauss (pictured, right) moved up two spots between the first and second round to finish 18th in her final collegiate tournament (89-86—175). "As a senior, this last tournament was really special and it was a bittersweet feeling on the last hole," said Krauss. "I have cherished every moment over these last four years and I feel very grateful to be a part of this team. Go Beacons!"
Also concluding her career was 
Fernanda Gardea (pictured, left), taking 25th (95-101—196).
 
Melody Garcia rounded out the Bushnell contingent in 28th (230).
 
Third-ranked British Columbia, who has not lost a tournament this season, claimed a dominant victory for the team championship, winning by 45 strokes (298-292—590). UBC's Elizabeth Labbe took individual medalist honors by one shot over teammate Sonja Tang, after shooting a 4-under par 68 on Tuesday.
 
No. 23 Oregon Tech held a comfortable margin for second place (635), followed by Corban (663), (RV) Lewis-Clark State (665), College of Idaho (764) and Bushnell (769). 
Director of Golf 
Larry Watts said, "The women played hard today but faced a insurmountable hole against the highly rank Thunderbirds from British Columbia.  Analise and Cassidy had strong performances. It was a very emotional day for seniors Cassidy and Fern. It has been an honor and joy to be a small part of their lives; they are going to missed around here and especially on the course."
