Bushnell Esports Leads Division in Three Games

EUGENE, Ore. – Bushnell Esports is nearing the end of the regular season for all three teams as Valorant and Overwatch 2 wrapped up their final week of play. Rocket League prepares for its final match on Monday.

Valorant earned two wins this week to finish as the regular season leaders, Overwatch 2 went 1-1 on the week and Rocket League was back in action with another victory to stay undefeated. The Beacons improve to a combined 19-7 on the season.

VALORANT
The Valorant regular season consists of six rounds of conference play. All matches are a best-of-three games. At the end of the Regular Season, six Rosters from each Division that have the best overall Records (W-L) will move on to the Playoffs.

Bushnell 2, Concordia University, St. Paul 0 (13-5, 13-10)

The Beacons (5-1) earned the top seed in the divisional playoffs after defeating Concordia and George Fox this week. After falling on map one against the Bruins, the Beacons took the next two, securing them the top playoff seed.

In the match with GFU, Cole Vamos recorded 83 eliminations on the night to lead all players. Colton Osten-Milbert tallied 65 eliminations, while Caden Booth led the team in assists with 35.

Bushnell is on a bye next week and will wait for the final round of matches to be completed before they learn their first-round opponent. The Round of 6 begins on November 9.  

OVERWATCH 2
The Overwatch regular season consists of seven rounds of conference play. All matches are a best-of-five games. At the end of the Regular Season, six Rosters from each Division that have the best overall Records (W-L) will move on to the Playoffs.

Saint Xavier 3, Bushnell 0
Bushnell 3, Lubbock Christian 2
The Beacons (6-1) hit a slight speed bump, taking their first loss of the season to Saint Xavier on Tuesday. A similar result appeared to be unfolding in Thursday's match against Lubbock Christian before Bushnell pulled off the reverse sweep. The Beacons used a starting lineup of Lauren Cazares, Aaron May, Brett Olmstead, Cole Vamos and Kenyon Webster-Lorentzen in Thursday's win.  

Bushnell will have next week off as they await final seeding. The Beacons sit at the top of the conference but will likely be in a three-way tie for first after the remaining teams wrap up the regular season.

ROCKET LEAGUE
The Rocket League regular season consists of six rounds of conference play. All matches are a best-of-five games. At the end of the Regular Season, six Rosters from each Division that have the best overall Records (W-L) will move on to the Playoffs.

Bushnell 3, Neumont College of Computer Science (5-2, 3-0, 4-0)
The Beacons (5-0) remain undefeated after defeating Neumont on Thursday evening, leading the entire match in the sweep.

Lucas Fenton: 5 goals, 3 assists

Kyle Foss: 3 goals, 2 assists

Up next is the regular season finale against George Fox (4-0) on Monday, October 31 at 7 p.m. in a battle for a spot at the top of the conference standings.
