BLUE RIVER, Ore. –
Jackson Muramoto led the Bushnell University men's golf team with a second-place result at the Tall Timber Invite, the final tournament of the fall season for the Beacons.

Round one was hosted at the Eugene Country Club followed by round two at the Tokatee Golf Club. Nathaniel Frink earned individual medalist honors, recording a 72-72—144 (E) for Southern Oregon. Muramoto (76-70—146) took second, followed by the College of Idaho's Camden Chose (74-74—148) in third.

Bushnell (397-379—776) finished in fourth as a team as Muramoto,
Caden Stubbs and
Elliot Wallace placed among the top-10. The Beacons were just one stroke behind third-place Southern Oregon.

The College of Idaho won the tournament by 14 strokes, posting a 384-372—756 in the "Play Six, Score Five" format. The final team scores were: (1) The College of Idaho 756, (2) Southwestern Oregon CC 770, (3) Southern Oregon 775, (4) Bushnell 776, (5) Walla Walla 804, (6) Skagit Valley 822, (7) Corban 831.

For the Beacons, Muramoto shot the best round of the tournament on Tuesday at Tokatee to finish at a 76-70—146 (+2). Stubbs posted a 77-72—149 through 36 holes to finish in a tie for fourth. Wallace secured a tie for 10
th after shooting a 79-75—154.

Hayden Lazeo (78-81—159) took 20th, while
Benjamin Lovrod (87-84—171) placed 35th.
Jackson Findlay (98-81—179) had a strong improvement on day two to finish in a tie for 40
th.

Evan Zuvich (91-79—170) carded a season-best 79 at Tokatee to place 34
th as an individual.
Josh Neal (91-83—174), also competing as an individual, tied for 36
th.

Bushnell returns on March 5-7 as the team participates in the Bandon Match Play, an exhibition event at the Bandon Crossings Golf Course.
