SOLVANG, Calif. –
Caden Stubbs shot a 74-72—146 (+2) to lead the Bushnell University men's golf team to a fourth-place finish at the TMU Danish Classic, hosted by The Master's University at the Alisal Ranch Golf Course on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Bushnell improved by four strokes as a team on Wednesday, finishing with a line of 301-297—598 on the tournament to put themselves in a tie for fourth on the leaderboard alongside William Jessup University.

Larry Watts said, "The men battled today. Alisal Ranch was a fun course to play. Playing out of conference was a positive experience for the team and I think they took a step up in maturity."
A strong back-nine moved Stubbs (74-72—146) into a tie for eighth in the final standings. He shot four-over on the front-nine but made up for it with four birdies on the back half to finish with a 72 (E) on the day. The senior now has three top-10 placements on the season.
Jackson Muramoto (73-78—151) and
Elliot Wallace (76-75—151) tied for 22
nd.
Hayden Lazeo (78-74—152) posted his best round of his collegiate career to move into a tie for 24
th.
Benjamin Lovrod (79-76-155) improved by three strokes in round two to finish in a tie for 32
nd.
Jack Dudeck of The Master's University won by a decisive five strokes, posting a 68-70—138 (-6) on the tournament. Jacob Flogstad (74-69—143) of Menlo College took second.
The final team scores were: (1) The Master's 572, (2) Menlo 577, (3) Hope International 588, (4) Bushnell 598, (5) William Jessup 598, (6) Westmont 599, (7) Providence Christian 611, (8) The Master's "B" 625, (9) Vanguard 655.
