COMPLETE RACE RESULTS

McMINNVILLE, Ore.  – The Bushnell women's cross country team opened the season with a fourth-place finish on Friday the Linfield Harrier Classic.
 
The Beacons scored 81 points to come in behind the third-place hosts at 60. Lane Community College won the race with 34 points, followed by Western Oregon in second with 47.
 
Junior Rebecca Kuskie (pictured) led Bushnell with a fifth-place finish, clearing the finish line of the 4000-meter course in 16 minutes, 27.6 seconds.
 
Junior Aneykah McCall followed in 15th (17:31.0) with sophomore Kennedy Larson close behind in 16th (17:38.9). Junior Isabell Weber (23rd, 18:30.8) and Skye Urban (29th, 19:50.7) rounded out the scoring for the Beacons.
 
Also running were junior Liz Jarvis (21:06.9) in 30th and Kaitlin Cook (21:07.3) in 31st.
 
Next up for the Beacons will be the Bushnell Invitational on September 17th, taking place at Middlefield Golf Course in Cottage Grove.
