CRESWELL, Ore. – The fall season for Bushnell University golf is in the books as the team closed things out on Monday with the Bushnell Fall Invitational at Emerald Valley Golf Course. The Beacons took second-place in the event, falling to Multnomah University by five strokes.
 
Leading the way for the Beacons were senior 
Liam Bedford and junior 
Andrew Webb who tied for third-place as they shot a one-over 72. For Bedford, it was his final tournament with the team as he will graduate this December.
 
Senior 
Jon Holzgang and junior 
Caden Stubbs followed in tenth place as they each shot 75 while 
Connor Maloney rounded out the team score with an 86.
 
Three Beacons played as individuals in the tournament. Leading was red-shirt sophomore 
Alvaro Molina at 74 and freshman 
Jackson Muramoto at 75. 
Ethan Pentony shot a 76 to tie for 16th.
 
Multnomah won the title, their first ever, with a team score of 289 with Bushnell close behind at 294. The Oregon Tech Blue team finished third (298), Corban was fourth (302) and the Oregon Tech Gold team was fifth (310).
 
The Beacons will be off for the winter, returning to action in early March.
