EAGLE POINT, Ore.  – The Northwest Christian University men's golf team finished fourth among Cascade Collegiate Conference schools and sixth overall at the Oregon Tech Spring Invitational this weekend.

The Beacons shot a three-round total of 964, hitting a low of 313 in the second round. Lewis-Clark State College won the event with a 904, claiming an 11-stroke victory over Corban University.

Josh Goins led the charge for the Beacons, taking eighth place as he shot a 226 to finish ten strokes over par.
Levi Dean was 13th, shooting a 231.

Also golfing for the Beacons were
Paul Smoot (41st, 253) and
Jack Singleton (42nd, 254).

NCU will be back on the course in four weeks, traveling to Portland for the Warner Pacific Invitational on April 3-4.
