SPRINGFIELD, Ore. – Junior
Josh Goins continued his dominance of Springfield Golf Club on Tuesday, claiming a share of medalist honors at the Northwest Christian University Invitational.

The two-time defending CCC championships medalist, who won his 2017 title on this same course, fired a three-round total of 215, landing one-under par for the best 54-hole score of his career. His first-round 69 was also his best individual round.

Goins led an NCU team that finished third in the CCC event, scoring a combined 929 to defeat Warner Pacific by two strokes. Corban University won the event at 877, easily out-pacing Oregon Tech by 38 strokes.

Junior
Levi Dean also claimed a spot in the top-ten, finishing the event with a 76-71-78—225.
Paul Smoot followed in 28th place (244) while
Jack Singleton took 30th (245) and
Tristan Ivie made his 2017-18 debut in 37th (261).
NCU will be back in action on October 9 when they compete in the Coastal Collegiate Classic, hosted by Corban University at Salishan Golf Resort.Â
