EUGENE, Ore. – Freshman Antonio Campos already broke a school record in the 100m on Thursday and added a 200m best on Saturday at the OSU High Performance Meet.

Campos topped his own record in the event, finishing in 22.44 seconds to take 9th place in a field stacked with NCAA Division I and II competition. Campos has already qualified for the CCC Championships in the event and he currently ranks eighth in the event.

A select group of Beacons will be back in action on May 6 at the Oregon Twilight meet and a few others will participate in the Linfield Open on May 7 with one final chance for a CCC qualification on the line. For the rest, all eyes are on the Cascade Collegiate Conference championships, set for May 13-14 in Hermiston.Â
