2018: Competed in throws as a senior...finished fourth in the CCC championships for the Javelin with a throw of 55.78m...earned first-team All-CCC honors in Javelin.

2017: Competed in the CCC and NAIA National Championships in the Javelin...took second place at the CCC Championship to earn his first All-CCC honors...repeated as an NAIA All-American with a fifth-place finish at nationals...set a new school record of 60.89m at the CCC Championship...named CCC Field Athlete of the Week on May 1...took 8th place at the Canadian National Championship. 

2016: Competed in the CCC and NAIA National Championships in the Javelin...earned a fifth-place finish at the conference championship...finished sixth at the NAIA Championship with a school record 59.69m throw, earning All-American honors...took 3rd at the Athletics Ontario Track & Field Championships and 8th at the Canadian Olympic Trials with the University of Windsor Athletics Club. 

Previous Collegiate Experience: Played two years of football at Holland College for coach Andrew Hickey...was a two-time All-Atlantic Football Conference selection...named AFC Offensive Player of the Year and Rookie of the Year in 2013...won 2014 AFC Hilton Memorial Trophy for the Player of the Year...set all school passing records as a freshman and broke them as a sophomore...was a National Junior College Player of the Year finalist in 2014. 

High School Experience: Played four years at Sandwich Secondary school...was a two-time Male Athlete of the Year...was a three-time OFSAA State/Provincial Meet finalist...also played football, basketball, and baseball for the Sabres, earning All-City Team and MVP honors in football.

Personal: Born in Windsor, Ontario, Canada...son of Richard and Cristeta Hackney...aspires to become a chiropractor and strengh & conditioning coach...majoring in exercise science.
