2015: Competed in the javelin as a junior after three years with the NCU men's basketball team...improved upon his best distance in each of his four meets, finishing with a school-record heave of 49.85m at the CCC Championship on May 8.

Personal: Born on August 23, 1992 in Coos Bay, Ore...son of Cindy and Steve Gant...enjoys playing ping pong and going to the beach...loves to play cribbage...collects sports memorabilia...majoring in business marketing.
