McMINNVILLE, Ore. – Four school records were equaled or improved on Saturday and one new CCC qualification was earned as the Beacons competed in the Jen Boyman Invitational at Linfield College.

Micah Jury (pictured) led the way, improving his own school record in the 400m Hurdles by 1.65 seconds. His time of 56.77 also improves his CCC qualifying mark.

Freshman
Michael Andrews also topped his own school best in the pole vault, clearing 3.78m. He is also a CCC qualifier.

Tying the school 4x400m record was the team of
Michael Andrews,
Antonio Campos-Perez,
Micah Jury, and
Alec Duncan, taking seventh place with a time of 3:30.37.

The final record was dropped by freshman
Antonio Campos-Perez in the 200m dash. He ran a 23.23, 0.9 seconds faster than the mark set by
Tanner Keuter las season.

Earning his first trip to the CCC championships was freshman distance runner
Conner Covey, running a 10:05.73 in the 3000m Steeplechase.
