INDEPENDENCE, Ore. – The Bushnell women's cross country team finished out the 2025 season on Friday morning at the Cascade Collegiate Conference championship, taking place at Oak Knoll Golf Course.

The Beacons took 10th-place at the event as the scored 244 points. No. 5 College of Idaho cruised to the team championship with 39 points.

Leading for the Beacons was sophomore
Cadence Smith in 20th place, coming across the finish line in 23:11.90. Freshman
Hailey Jackson followed in 45th (24:37.80) with freshman
Alyssa Clark taking 56th (25:11.40).

Junior
Sidney Lane (72nd, 25:54.00) and sophomore
Jordan Lauinger (74th, 26:10.20) rounded out the scoring freshman
Annika Kimball (75th, 26:36.70) close behind.

Also competing for Bushnell were
Karlee Myers in 86th and
Ava Adams in 90th.

We didn't finish well today," said Head Coach
Kyle Will. "Just poor timing with sickness and other things they are dealing with, and being in the toughest conference in the country, and among some of the toughest teams and athletes, and we aren't quite there yet. They've worked hard, we are young and have a promising future, and will keep working towards next year and towards the track season."
