Box Score OLYMPIA, Wash. - The Bushnell volleyball team needed just 75 minutes to finish off The Evergreen State College on Friday evening in three sets, defeating the Geoducks in their first conference road game of the season, 25-19, 25-10, 25-11. 

The Beacons (8-2, 3-0 CCC) remain in first place in the Cascade Conference behind the strength of a 53-26 scoring advantage and an efficient .366 attacking percentage. Bushnell added 12 service aces, including five from Addie Evans and three apiece from Amyah Semau and Emma Fa'alogo, and out-dug the Geoducks 37-20. 

"We had a good night and worked hard as a team," said Evans. "I am grateful to have this team supporting me and lucky to be able to do the same for them."

Semau finished her night tied for the team-high with nine kills, equaled by teammate Taya Blankenship who hit .400 in the contest. Soliel Sands added six kills on seven swings and had five blocks while Avery McCallister led all players with 11 assists. Chloe Farr, who ended her evening with a match-high 14 digs, said, "I am so proud of this team and the fluidity with which we play. Everyone came together and pulled out a great win. We have so much fun and are grateful for every moment we get with each other."

Evergreen (1-6, 0-3) was led by Sophia Scroggins, posting 11 kills and seven digs. 

"Blocking, floor defense, and serving really put alot of pressure on Evergreen tonight," said head coach Jason Corwin. "I like how we finished each set and stayed focused on what we could control."

Up Next: Bushnell travels to Kirkland on Saturday to take on Northwest University (4-8, 0-3) at 4:00 pm.
