SALEM, Ore. – The Bushnell women's golf team holds on to seventh-place at the Willamette Valley Cup, with one round remaining.
 
The Beacons shot a 355 to open the tournament and hold a one-shot lead over eighth-place Corban University. George Fox claims the team lead at 310 with CCC foe Lewis-Clark State close behind in second place after shooting a 315 in the first round.
 
Kylee Smith leads the way for the Beacons after shooting an 82 to claim part of a five-way tie for 14th-place. Hailey Smith follows in 37th (90), Morgan Schlesinger is in 39th (91), Jada Richwine is 40th (92) and Jaylee Hix is 42nd (93).
 
The Beacons will close out the tournament on Sunday.
