EUGENE, Ore. - Bushnell Athletics proudly announces sophomore Elidia Cervantes-Carlos as the Papa Johns Players of the Week.

On Saturday, Cervantes-Carlos hit a spectacular goal at an angle from 25-yards out in the 70th minute, lifting the Beacons to a 1-0 victory over Carroll College. That victory was Bushnell's first ever against Carroll. The win also clinched a spot in the Cascade Collegiate Conference tournament as the Beacons secured the No. 8 seed.

As a Papa Johns Players of the Week, Cervantes-Carlos will receive a free large pizza from Papa Johns.
